Data Visualization pitches:
1-One of my first beat stories is about a new stent technology is being used to treat sinusitis. For my data visualization for that story, I wanted to display a bar graph or a pie chart, displaying the incidents of sinusitis across long island over the past ten years.
2-Another data visualization pitch would include displaying the different types of cure for treating sinusitis over the last ten years and how they have evolved over that time period. Not sure how I would display it but I was thinking of creating a chart of some sort where the cursor hovers over the topic for a mini info bubble.
