  1. A bar graph of total capital investment by industry on Long Island from 2005 to 2014. This data viz will make it easy to compare the amount of venture capital that is invested in the biotech industry to the amount that is invested in other industries.   2. Pie charts of the sources of revenue for Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and the Feinstein Institute of Medical Research, two big sources of new biotech innovations. This will show how close (or far) Long Island is from becoming comparable to the biggest biotech research regions in the United States.
